Testimonial

I was born in East Timor and I have 3 siblings. Because of the riots in East Timor, we had to flee our home land. In amongst chaos, my parents and I separated and to this day I have not been able to track down and find my parents. As far as I am aware my parents are still alive, but I do not know where they are. Before I came to Denpasar Mercy Home, it felt like my life didn’t count, and it was not valid. I did things that weren’t good and I did not have the opportunity to go to school. Just before I came to Mercy I was homeless and had been trying to survive by spending my day living in a cemetery and each night I would walk to the nearby refugee camp, and hope someone can take me in.

When I was 8 I met Ps Paulus and Marliesye at the refugee camp on the boarder of East and West Timor. I was surprised and happy when they asked me to go to school in Denpasar. 6 years after living at HOM Denpasar, I am so happy and blessed to have the opportunity to go to school. Jesus has blessed my life, and I love Him. Thank you Jesus.

I, like many others need your support so that I can continue to go to school, achieve goals and develop my gifts and talents. If you have been touched by this story, and would like to donate, you can make an online donation. Just click on sponsorship.
