I was
born in East Timor and I have 3 siblings. Because of the riots in East
Timor, we had to flee our home land. In amongst chaos, my parents and I
separated and to this day I have not been able to track down and find my
parents. As far as I am aware my parents are still alive, but I do not
know where they are. Before I came to Denpasar Mercy Home, it felt like
my life didn’t count, and it was not valid. I did things that weren’t
good and I did not have the opportunity to go to school. Just before I
came to Mercy I was homeless and had been trying to survive by spending
my day living in a cemetery and each night I would walk to the nearby
refugee camp, and hope someone can take me in.
When I
was 8 I met Ps Paulus and Marliesye at the refugee camp on the boarder
of East and West Timor. I was surprised and happy when they asked me to
go to school in Denpasar. 6 years after living at Mercy Denpasar Orphanage, I am so
happy and blessed to have the opportunity to go to school. Jesus has
blessed my life, and I love Him. Thank you Jesus.
I, like many others need your support so
that I can continue to go to school, achieve goals and develop my gifts
and talents. If you have been touched by this story, and would like to
