Mercy Indonesia has a Second Hand and New for Charity shop located in Denpasar, Bali. It opened in December 2009 and has been doing well. The couple who run this shop, both love to reach out to the community.
This shop is not just an outlet where people can buy good quality clothes, toys, and linen, but also is a place where people can buy some of the essential items such as rice. The proceeds from this venture will help assist the welfare work of Mercy Indonesia. In future it is our aim to open several such shops across Indonesia wherever Mercy Indonesia operates. In addition to providing a great service to the community by selling affordable goods and help us raise funds, it can provide employment, training in retail and create a culture of recycling.
There is a great demand in Indonesia for quality used clothing. You can contribute by donating your unwanted clothing. Next time you visit Bali, why not fill your suitcase with items for the shop, just think how much free space you will have for your souvenirs. Or, if you have come to the end of your time in Bali, and have run out of luggage space, why not donate your clothes to us. Either way, when you visit Bali, pop in and say hi. For more details on what to bring, please don’t hesitate to contact us on indomissiontrips@live.com.
The shop is located at: Jalan Nangka Utara No 24, DPN, Mini Market Hokkita
Our mission is to restore the lives of orphans in partnership with churches, corporations, organizations and individuals who have a passion to help needy, parentless children.
