The children in Singaraja children's home are a mix of orphans and children from poor families, where a parent is not able to provide food or shelter. The home opened in June 2009. There are seven children in this home. Each morning starts at 5am. All the children gather and pray together
for one hour and do the house work by schedule. The children study their
lessons in the morning before going to school in the afternoon. After
dinner, they have worship and close the day by praying together. All
children must be in bed by 10pm. A number of children at this home have
talents in: playing guitar, bass, drums, singing and in computer
skills. Pak Yopi Maluta and Ibu Ita along with Pak Mingtarza Cuandra and his wife Mince Tasane take care of the chidren in Singaraja. They are all graduated from D'Maker Church Planting School in Bali. "We have a heart and desire to help these kids become excellent future leaders" Mingtarza stated. | Singaraja Mercy Home |
