Rote is a small island in the very south of Indonesia. The population is about 125.000 people. Last year, Mercy Indonesia came to this island to give a better life for the children in this island.
On 25 June, some of the Mercy Indonesia team and twelve children from Mercy Denpasar Children’s Home set off to West Timor. We spent three days in Kupang, a day in Soe and two days in Atambua at the refugee camp.
