On January 23rd, 2011 Mercy Indonesia received a special visitation from Bethany House of Glory church of Sidoarjo. The team that consists of four people accompanied by Ps. Ongky Ola  Pak Onky holds a ministry at Mercy Radio, refugee camp and pre-school.  They donated food supply such as rice, instant noodle, and sugar for Mercy Home in Soe and Atambua. They also help providing for the pre-school resources and feeding program for the children at the refugee camp. They are fed with breads and green bean pourage. “This is the genuine ministry that touches many lives," one of the team members poured out their testimony. We are praying for the future project to build church and provide trainings for the pre-school teachers. Also for the project of opening the training center in Soe and child adoption (mostly the pre-school students cannot continue studying at public schools because they cannot afford it).

The PCLC team then diverted their ministry to the Mercy Home in Denpasar, Bali. They did a hard work helping the children rooms renovation,  building the new stairs, repainting the walls. They preached to the children and played with them.
"I am very happy that I can play with Ps. Aaron," the 11-year old David said when asked about his experience with PCLC team.

On January 7th, Mercy Indonesia team with PCLC team from Perth visited Munduk Village. They were invited to celebrate Christmas with the people from a Balinese Underground Church Ministry . The congregation are mostly Hindu people who long to hear about Jesus Christ.
The parents and kids looks very enthusiastic that day. It was really an amazing day for us because God bless us with a good weather also, so the service was a big success. At the end of the service, the church planters help us  to give navigators from Leading the Way. The navigators got 30 sermons from Michael Youssef, which is very useful for new Christians who need Biblical teachings. Everyone was very happy, and we are very blessed to see the faithfulness of the churchplanters there. They are doing a great ministry and we can see God has used them so mightily.

Spread The Love

On December, children from Mercy Denpasar share Christmas Parcels to the people who works in Kuta Beach. Beside Parcels, we also gave them Navigators from Leading the way and some Christian Books. This visitation is to follow-up our previous encounter with them.

As we went home after giving them the parcels, we received many sms in our cellphones saying that they are very thankful. They also wished us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, even though they couldn't write or speak in English properly, they wrote it to us as their "Give Thanks" expression. The holy spirit has opened their hearts, we pray that, together, we can win their souls for Jesus. Amen![created 12 December 2011]
