We have just started a new project aimed at helping the victims of
the earthquake that hit Padang on 30 September 2009. We are helping to
rebuild the lives of 125 families, so that they can begin to restore
their lives. The aim is to help with the basic necessities like housing,
medications, clothing, food, cooking utensils, and mosquito nets.
Feeding 1000 children in the West Timor province
Our vision is to feed 1000 children three times a week. These
children live in the refugee camp and are living in extreme poverty.
Often going without food and with no opportunity for education. For as
little as AUD $1.00, a meal can be provided. Having the funds to start
this will see children get off the path of living in starvation and onto
the path of a healthier and brighter future.
Mercy Self Worth Project
This is a future project, aiming to give women back their self-worth.
Once the funds are available we will set up a home, which will take in
prostitutes and women who have been abandoned by their husbands. With
counseling, life coaching and skill training, this will see a women’s
life turn around for the better
