f. Child Street Beggars.
Children are exploited to become beggars and the number is increased drastically for the last 2 decades from very poor areas in Bali, such as Munti village – Karangasem. These children do not go to school. Some of them work on the streets in Kuta and Legian where their parents work as well (based on data from I am an angel charity group in Kuta) 2/3 of Bali population is women and children. As citizens they have the right to receive freedom and enjoy the results of this nation’s development. Women who are abused cannot take care of her children well and abused children will not rise to be great potential future generation if we close our eyes and turn our back on this crucial issue.
